Integration Information

This release extends the functionality from the v1 and v2 Beta Releases. Every feature supported in this version includes coding samples and instructions on how to get your site using Wetpaint Injected. View the Integration Guide, starting with Step 7 to continue your integration.

New Integration Steps

• Step 7: Build Your Own Navigation. Integrate the navigation to user-generated pages into your own navigation structures.
• Step 8: Implement Templates. Preload your cells with default content by adding templates.
• Step 9: Tell Us About Your Cache. If you cache your server-side requests for our cell content, inform the client application.
• Step 10: Subscribe To The Data Feeds. Watch what's happening with your user-generated content by subscribing to the RSS feeds.
  

New Supported Features:

• Added CellService.getCellWithChildren, a new "flavor" of content you can add in Step 2 of the Integration Guide.
• Updated Step 2: Add User-Generated Content to reflect this change.
• Added the TemplateService to support loading default content with templates. This included updates to the CellService and the Add Page method of the client application.
  

Upcoming API Changes

Next release, we will be making some changes to our Data Access API. We just wanted to give you a heads up about this change -- it will not go into effect until the May 2nd release. A list of changes can be found in our list of upcoming API changes.

Browser Compatibility Information

This version is best viewed using Firefox 2.x. The major features of service are functioning with Internet Explorer 7.x. We are continuing our work to extend full support to support for Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0.
