Easy Edit errors out : A runtime error has occurred

Easy Edit errors out in IE and Mozilla: A runtime error has occured. Object Required. My wetpaint injected was working till yesterday evening. Suddenly, starting from last night it has started giving me the error. Here is the sequence of steps: log into test.focusnfly.com , go to Forum tab and click on easy edit, error occurs. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I found out what is causing the issue. I had set the user role to be "banned" to see how it functions. Whenever, I do this, the above error happens. I would still think that is a bug.

Yep, this is a bug. This behaves functionally the same as it should for banned users, but the messaging just isn't in place for it. The intended behavior is something along the lines of how locked cells are handled... we shouldn't be so harsh on the banned folks.We have a task assigned to this [WTG-643], so I'll report back here when it is resolved and slated for release. - DC Do you find this valuable? |
