LoginDialog on IE7

To see this error:
- Use IE7
- Click EasyEdit while not logged in
- From the "Please Login" dialog, click 'help'

The LoginDialog shows up. The container for this content is not wide enough for the content - as a result, the text extends outside the right edge of the box. Have been able to reproduce this error on our site and the IGN Grand Theft Auto IV wiki. Do you find this valuable?

Hello,

Our custom CSS adds the rule 'width:39em', which applies to the Help dialog. I used the IE dev toolbar, and it looks like the rule is being loaded. FYI... the IE Dev Toolbar can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details.aspx?familyid=E59C3964-672D-4511-BB3E-2D5E1DB91038&displaylang=en. Do you know if you are modifying the measurement for em anywhere in your style definitions?

Are you seeing this behavior in any browser other than IE7?

I WILL BE HAPPY IF U GIVE ME A BRIEF AS IF VISITORS ARE COMING IN ANY OF MY SITES AND IF AT LEAST OF 3 OF MY SITES ARE GETTING POPULAR Do you find this valuable?

- I don't think we're doing anything to modify the width.
- I am only seeing it in IE7

It looks like the dialog text correctly has a 37em width (based on class .WPC .WPC-proto-subWindow) but if you go up a couple containing DIVs, you'll see that .WPC .WPC-proto assigns a width of 395px for the containing box, which isn't wide enough. The "Please log in" screenshot gif alone is 412px. Do you find this valuable?

Hmm, I see what you mean. I will move this thread to the open issued discussion list, and file a bug. Thanks for reporting this! Do you find this valuable?
