Hello World.
Feb 25 2009, 3:29 PM EST
I got lost in the process. I would like a sample of a finished, fully commented, extremely simply html (php format) page with all of the final code in one place, in addition to the pieces individually explained. I have the following on the page now.... EasyEdit (What's this?) What is the EasyEdit button? This website gets better when people like you add to it. Just click the EasyEdit button to start. (help) but the script is not yet successful to bring in the images, nor is there any info on what the code should be on the login page. Is the login page in fact a separate page? Great idea, just needs some a-b-c steps, not a-c (skipping b) Thanks - 360true 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Thank you for the feedback! I will be working in the coming weeks to overhaul the Hello World tutorial code, and hopefully the new code will address some of these issues. I agree, that the code should be decorated with a decent amount of code commenting, to help readers better understand what's happening. In fact, I'm thinking that it might also be cool to cross reference the code to the specific sections in the Integration Guide.Again, thank you for walking through the Hello World tutorial and providing valuable feedback. Most appreciated. Thanks, boe_wetpaint Do you find this valuable? |

This sounds great; however, please find a way to make this a bit more plug and play. It almost feels, as we need a Masters degree just to get started or perhaps this should not be marketed for the average internet user like me.
