We should not post content that degrades the work of others on the basis of gender or race. One must have respect for intellectual property and not try to exploit the work of others by trying to sell or pass it off as your own work. It is important to note and practice the proper use of the works of others. Anyone who utilizes a part or any portion of an individual’s production must give due respect for that piece of work by mentioning the source.
This can be done by proper quotation or an approved permission from the owner to use or share such work. A prime example can be seen in the music of recording artiste which has been used in political campaign. We should take into consideration how hard persons have worked to come up with new ideas. They give much of their time and commitment, so we cannot try to make profit from something that does not belong to us.
If we respect and value what we have then we can do the same for other people. We should not encourage anyone to use anything that was created by someone else. Also, we can become a part of a group that promotes zero tolerance against persons that use or benefit from intellectual property. People can attend seminars and workshop in order to understand more on the subject of intellectual property. This will also help persons to develop greater appreciation for the work of others.
